Supernatural has saved my life twice and continues to do so with every rewatch of its epic 15 seasons. Having so many episodes to binge has become my anchor in the mad sea that is bipolar disorder, sobriety, and the random chaos of life. Supernatural is a comfort show, not just to me, but to many others who seek escape from a world that too often forgets that they exist.
The Rationale
Jensen Ackles, Jared Padalecki, Misha Collins, Alexander Calvert, Ruth Connell — these are the names that belong rolling in a new credits intro. The cast keeps saying the door isn’t closed. Streaming is bigger than ever. There is no reason we can’t have Season 16 — whether episodes on Max with room for adult themes, the same heart on Prime, or Hulu, Netflix, anywhere that will have and honor it.
